Treatment Modalities and Treatment Settings for Illicit Drug Abuse
Treatment Settings:
Introduction

The availability of specific treatment modalities can vary depending on the type of treatment setting. And treatment settings can vary regarding the availability of general medical and psychiatric care, the degree of restricted access to substances that are likely to be abused, and the overall milieu and treatment philosophy. Consequently, matching a patient to an appropriate setting is important.[1]
